It happened, around midnight
On a night ever so clear,
Behold the tale, He is the might
Before the story of those little reindeer
Born in a manger, and wrapped in swaddling
Because there was no place, at the inn
Our infant Savior, he lay there, not so oddly
Emitting grace, as soon as his life begins
To love, and glory, to Heaven and beyond
His was hardship too, but he did not fall
With Love, our Father built a special bond
In our hearts, in time, an eternity could recall
Father, You are love, and You are mercy
You give us strength, even though we betray
We forever lift you up, Father, You are worthy
You are the reason, for our Christmas praise
Distances pass, as in time, so do we decay
And soon, The Father will come back down
The ones who will rise, are the only ones saved
Every knee shall fall, every head shall bow
I ask you now, do you know, are you saved
Will you one day up, and to Heaven rise
There is no tomorrow, there is only today
Accept the Lord as your savior, or surely die
