  • Father, are we too far gone?
I don’t know what to do
To make them see the light

Father, how do we make it through?
Sometimes I am lost, and you are
Always there; just out of my sight

Father, when will I see Your face?
    I can’t even dream, or begin to sketch;
I have no recollection of Your true might

Father, are You coming here soon?
Please forgive me for my past doubt
I accept Your word, while knowing it right

Father, do I make you proud?
I only wish to spread Your name,
And stand firm on God, and reach new heights

    Father, I love You, truly!!!
You are always there in the dark
Shining in the blackest times when my heart is affright

There will be no excuse when he comes to reclaim
The proof was there all along, while you thought it insane
Get down on your knees, and ask forgiveness I swear it’s not inane
The very Creator of the universe, He knows you by name

  • Arise and shine
    Awake and listen
    To the amber songs
    As morning glistens
For God is in this moment
And an air is ever so listless
As shadows fade in an arrival
Of a red colored and warm existence
    In the awakening moment
    Of your caffeine’s morning resistance

Come to me in an expanse
To adorn the crown and king
As we inspire to lift on high
In glorious words as we sing
“Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,”
    Awesome feelings your power brings
Until one sweet day we’ll arise
To heaven, from a world we’re enduring
Of this, I KNOW, for a fact one day
I don’t need any worldly reassuring

God speaks, we need only to receive
This glorious Father, love you can’t conceive
You need only faith and love, ask and truly believe
If he’s dealing with you now angst can be relieved

  • Today, I say praise
For the song of a bird
    We worship You in ways
    That don’t come as words
    For the springtime’s rays
    And all the blessings occurred
    Glorious times, and always
    The things that seem absurd

    Father, you are consistent
    Even though we are not
    Sometimes we are resistant
    Not seeing your final plot
    But You bring contentment
When satan leaves us to rot
    You never throw us resentment
    You, are our founding rock

I worship today, to remember You
Not asking for this many things
For I want to consistently pursue
All the words I want to sing
To the heavens that life cant
    misconstrue
Or dilute, like the rain in spring
Just words in songs, and holy tunes
Your love, forever shall it ring
  • It happened, around midnight
On a night ever so clear,
Behold the tale, He is the might
Before the story of those little reindeer

Born in a manger, and wrapped in swaddling
Because there was no place, at the inn
Our infant Savior, he lay there, not so oddly
Emitting grace, as soon as his life begins

To love, and glory, to Heaven and beyond
His was hardship too, but he did not fall
With Love, our Father built a special bond
In our hearts, in time, an eternity could recall

Father, You are love, and You are mercy
You give us strength, even though we betray
We forever lift you up, Father, You are worthy
You are the reason, for our Christmas praise

Distances pass, as in time, so do we decay
And soon, The Father will come back down
The ones who will rise, are the only ones saved
Every knee shall fall, every head shall bow

I ask you now, do you know, are you saved
Will you one day up, and to Heaven rise
There is no tomorrow, there is only today
Accept the Lord as your savior, or surely die

  • Blind my eyes, and lead me out on faith
Break free of these shackles they all seem fake
Take me away, in the dawn of a new day
Shaken hearts, turned outward, we can’t repay

I gave my all, but my faith in God
Looking back, it all seemed so odd
The shadows of darkness began to shape
Listless lives we can’t begin to change

As time moves on, and people start to grow
The scars of life we suffer soon begin to show
Indications of life we seem to always ignore
If we could just go back and open the door

Father, you are merciful, when we betray
You cradle and nurture us when we go astray
You never give up and you never let us down
We lift your name and adorn your crown
  • Lord, grant me serenity,
And, guide my life along the way
This world, it’s hard to make it,
I don’t know if I can go on another day,

    Lord, grant me peace,
To accept what can't be changed,
    This reality sometimes breaks me,
And, my thoughts are blocking my way

    Lord, when I need calm,
All I need is to get down and pray
You speak with so many words
All I need to do is listen to what you say

    Lord, make me whole
And, who you would have me be
This is all I ask, in truth
Lord, just help me to see,
    Amen
  • I tried to sell my soul to the devil,
When it already belonged to God,
To recall a thought, it’s so abysmal
There is no awakening that I can applaud

In a word, I would have to say ashamed
I live on my knees, to try and repent
In my mind, I tried to reject and blame,
To try and make an existence to bend,

To the thought that remains, I will say
My God did forgive, I can feel in my heart
This treacherous act, I will soon repay
Because, it honestly tears my world apart

In the end, I know that God forgives
I know I should forgive only myself,
He lets me create poetry and just live,
To me, there is no other greater wealth

  • I once had a cup of coffee with God
Talking about life, and things I did't understand
To lead me down a path that seemed too odd
My knees where shaking, so he held my hand

I didn't know why I was on this path
Or, where I was to venture from day to day
I suffered fate at the bitter hands of wrath
Shattered and broken while looking for an easier way

I followed a dove into a field of dreams
Daisies and tulips lined the way up ahead
Life gets hard, but not so much as it seems
We just get filled up with worry and dread

We are never dealt more than we can handle
This pathway, just seems like a darkened haze
Just hold out your cup, and place it on the mantle
God will guide your feet as you go on your way
  • Clouds dance in rhythmic harmony,
    Early morning songs illuminate beauty
As we sing along in poetic verse,
    God's symphony fills the air
    Inspiring illustration and art,
And enlightening the songs of my soul,
As early morning fades into dawn
    We listlessly reflect on life,
The first time I saw my children's faces,
And their first bite of chocolate,
    The beauty of life,
    It sometimes seems to escape,
    Placing strain,
    Laying waste,
But, in dark times we must look up,
    And remember,
    It's all for a reason

  • In the depths of human longing, a sacred spark does gleam,
A story of redemption, and a heavy heart's eternal dream
With humble hearts and steadfast faith, we gather in His name,
To weave a tapestry of grace, where love and hope proclaim

Father we lift you up, and give you thanks for your word
For the scent of a springtime flower, or the beauty of a bird
Our weary hearts, because of you, we can lay our burdens to rest
You give us strength, when we get our lives in a total mess

The hope of a new day, can shine bright in a heavy heart
When this life is opposing, or tearing your world apart
You'll know when it's time, trust you'll know when
When you get on your knees and ask, that's when life begins

I truly do hope, to one day see you way up there
It's just my eternal wish to just make everyone aware
Amazing grace is simple, and can save your life too
Just be careful, the closer you get, the devil will misconstrue
