We are here, but the night goes on  
Fading in time, as crickets sing their songs  
Listless now, in this rhythmic tune  
Enjoy the night, dawn comes too soon  
  
We are here, forever lost from thought  
Replacing the memories we sought  
Distant times and a scent, oh so pure  
Fall is in the air, of this I am sure  
  
We are here, and time is on our side  
Dancing in tune, not having to hide  
For time is music and memories are the muse  
Reliving the times, our feelings weren't refused  
  
We are here, and God is in our heart  
We danced alone, to rhythm and art  
We relived the time and remembered when  
We are here, back to where it begins
