Memories

An unfamiliar wind carries an unspoken truth
Raindrops of languor seem to cleanse my soul
My ablution, to purge me of a troubled youth
Certain uncertainties that make me feel whole

Sunshine rays and happy days forgo distress
Listlessly wander around a memory, my friend
Expenses spent in an expanse of excess
To shadow the days of happiness we spend

Pen the stories of days passing by
To portray the beauty of a moment past
Understanding times ,we are wondering, why
For, life goes by, way too fast

In the end, when memories of yesterday replay
And you lose yourself deep within
Remember my words, when I say,
These memories will always be a friend
