Days passing, sing a splendiferous tune,
Then comes a sort of incandescent moon
Rays of disarray fading into obscurity
For we, are protected by Gods eternal security
So lay back on a sunny day, chilling in the breeze,
Songs of a listless tune we love to sing,
In a hammock, laid up all day in the shade…
This would be the perfect day
Toes in a cool creek, on a warm summers eve
A pole in the air, thinking on things I believe
My mom on the porch yelling, “look out for snakes”
I will mom, just chill out, for goodness sakes
I’ll always look back upon days like those,
Or, days looking upon a beautiful red rose,
Mom always taught me to appreciate the small things
Loving each way nature seems to sing
This world is a gift, if we treat it with respect
Not complaining about things we didn’t expect
Live each day as if it may be your last
Each moment build upon your own past
